The car was built in 1928, and it could be among one of the first ever armored cars – indeed it is probably the only surviving model from that era. It’s obvious that the vehicle has been kept with the utmost care, as both the cosmetic and running condition of the car are excellent. The glass is an inch thick, lined with almost 1360kgs of armor plating, with the vehicle itself made from steel plate with embedded pieces of lead. That’s some heavy duty protection!

The Cadillac has a V-8 engine, 4 speed manual transmission, and as a final clincher, if you should need one, is the fact that it has just 1,111 miles on the clock. It even has a few gadgets which are sure to please the most discerning of gangster. If things start to get a bit disorderly, the back window can be dropped down to deal with any rivals who happen to be in pursuit. There’s also an area large enough to accommodate the barrel of a machine gun if things should go from bad to worse.
